No ads, no analytics, no tracking cookies. We never sell your data or share it with third parties, apart from posting new world records (name, map and time) in our Discord.
This website
- One optional cookie,
surfheaven_profile: the Steam ID you picked with Set as my profile or This is me, kept for 400 days. - Without it, My profile and the server list’s map progress match your IP address to the player last seen from it, so others on your connection may be shown the same profile.
- Server logs (IP address, time, page, referrer, browser) are kept for 14 days for security and troubleshooting.
- Session storage remembers which servers you expanded until you close the tab.
- Steam profile pictures shown on player profiles are copied from each player's public Steam profile and kept for up to 90 days before being checked again.
Our game servers
We link your Steam ID to your Steam name, country, play time, runs, records, replays, points, map ratings, in-game settings, and any mutes, kicks or bans. Steam name, country, stats and records are public here.
We also keep the IP address you last connected from, for your country, bans and My profile. It is never shown publicly and is deleted 30 days after you last play (an IP ban keeps it while the ban lasts).
Your choices
Clear this site’s cookies at any time, or use Forget my profile above once you have chosen one.
Ask an admin on our Discord for a copy of your data or a correction. Records stay on the leaderboards, but we can anonymize your name and remove your stored IP address. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
